Director Gaspar Noé has personally curated a number of French music for his controversial directorial debut film starring Philippe Nahon. A limited official CD soundtrack with all the songs featured in the film was released in 2000 in Japan. The soundtrack features a mix of Afrobeat, Jazz, electronic, rock, and classical music by Thierry Durbert, Phil Davies, P. Paolo, Jean-Marc Willa-Roza, Zao, Leo Afzelius, Guy Fanfant and Johann Pachelbel's "Canon in D Major" conducted by Jean-François Paillard.
