At a skate park in her hometown, Clawdeen enjoys herself a skate session amongst human though cloaked with a hoodie until she bumps into another skateboarder and her monster status is revealed.

Clawdeen makes her way through the magical portal has her mom had done many years before her; Existing the portal and late, Clawdeen rushes into the school and finds herself for the first time amongst other monsters; (continues) Draculaura arrives with her famous father, Dracula, who demands she have an exemplary performance at the school when she wants to just find herself; a 15 days old, Frank Stein arrives at the school boldly introducing herself to any and all in the hopes of making friends; Cleo de Nile and bestie, Lagoona Blue reunite with Cleo dishes that Gorgon boyfriend, Deuce, broke up with her during the summer; Best friends, Duece Gorgon and elemental, Heath Burns, reunite with Deuce informing his friend that he's turning over a new leaf and avoiding mischief.

The first day of the semester begins at Monster High; Clawdeen and and Frankie find their lockers then find the vending machines with a variety of monster snacks and treats while running into their roommate, Draculaura.

Monster High's Monster History class resident "cool" teacher, Mr. Komos, gives his class a history listen about the half-human, half-monster, Edward Hyde.

Draculaura reads as Clawdeen and Frankie discuss Deuce Gorgon and Clawdeen's crush on him; Cleo burst into their dorm room to warn Clawdeen about Deuce; Draculaura casts a spell on Cleo causing her to have blemish and scurry from the room in a panic.

After revealing their secrets and truths to one another, Draculaura, Clawdeen and Frankie cement their bond as they work on the levitation potion to help Draculaura practice her magic before they can attempt the 'Mist of Releasing' powder spell that will help Clawdeen and Frankie mission; Draculaura manages to levitate higher after practicing with her friends.

Announcements are made with the school; Abbey Bominable picks up a order at The Coffin Bean while checking her socials; at the cafe, Draulaura, Clawdeen and Frankie go over the things they'll need for the 'Mist of Releasing' powder spell including the ingredients; Frankie reveals information on Bloodgood's habits that will allow them get Ogre bone shavings from her prized mug.

Frankie arrives back to her, Clawdeen and Draculaura dorm room with the mayonnaise need for the spell; Announcements are made at the school; in a classroom, Draculaura goes over the ingredient lists with Frankie and Clawdeen concluding that need snake venom; (repeats) [1:27] 1st End credits song.

At The Coffin Bean, Deuce eats and studies when Clawdeen approaches him to ask him for his help on her Founders Day speech.

At from the school, Deuce and Clawdeen, have a moment to themselves as they handout while they attempt to get the other to reveal their true selves to the other; Clawdeen attempts to get venom from Deuces hair snakes without him noticing.

After the fall out and the reveal of Draculaura's secret, Clawdeen, packs her belongs and leaves the school in the middle of the night to return home.

Students give 'Howl' for Clawdeen as she welcomed to the school as the official first half-human, half-monster at Monster High; Clawdeen shows her dad around the school; Dracula commends that Draculaura be best witch ever; Frankie accepts herself just as she is - a being of many, many different and complicated parts; Deuce announces to Clawdeen he's running for student council at Monster High; Frankie tells Clawdeen and Draculaura she's cracked the code to friendships and lets them know the secret; Draculaura using magic freely for the first time in front of others beside her friends levitates not only herself but also Clawdeen and Frankie with her.

A witch watches Draculaura and company through her crystal ball and proclaims that Draculaura is the key to destroying all vampires once and for all.
