One of Summer's closest pals is singing when Ace and Gilbert walk inside a music store. The girls then inquire about Neil, calling him "pukey."

Ace requests to attend Summer's birthday party over the weekend after they first meet. She extends her final invitation to him.

Gilbert approaches Ace's neighbor, who works at an auto dealership, and requests that the two of them borrow a car for Summer's celebration. To test it, they go for a ride, and Ace is tossed from the car.

When the man learns that they won't have enough cash to rent the car for the evening, he offers them the Porsche for seventy dollars, but only if he goes to the party with them.

Ace and Gilbert are invited to become swingers for a couple. They just sit and observe because they are uncomfortable.

The boys are picked up from the store and brought to the party by Jimmy, the auto dealer. When the cashier pulls a revolver and fires a sign that lands on Ace's head, Jimmy tries to loot the business. Gilbert and Jimmy head out.

Jimmy and Gilbert are invited to an exclusive party where Gilbert presents himself as Ace and they are given required attire. Gilbert's friend Justin (who invited him to be a swinger) meets them there.

Upon arriving at Summer's party via cab, Ace discovers his sister flirting with an other female. About Summer, he queries her.

Jimmy takes an access card to enter the basement, where some men were money laundering, when he returns to Jimmy and Gilbert's party.

In order to make room for her brother, Ace/Neil's sister, who is Summer's wingman, gets rid of Summer's friends during the celebration.

After speaking with Chad, Ace discovers that he too enjoys Summer. Jimmy and Gilbert are then ejected from the celebration.

Jimmy and Gilbert are surprised by Jimmy's dad, who is singing "Happy birthday" and delivering a cake, after they change into new clothes and take a shower. It is revealed to Gilbert that Jimmy turns thirty today.

While Ace and Chad are at the dance-off, Jimmy and Gilbert make the decision to search for Ace at Summer's party.

The song begins with Gilbert telling Ace that since Summer is watching them, they should dance. They then start performing the Just Dance dance.

Following the dance-off, Gilbert and Ace make up, and Summer's friend Ava approaches Gilbert.
