What's funny is that I watched the episode on my DVR and then went to NBC's website and queued up the episode to show my husband the song and it was a different song!! NBC actually changed the final song of the show! I wonder if it's because of the song being unreleased as of yet.

I see where they posted it, but the song isn't showing up anywhere on the Internet. I now went to ruelle's website and sent a message asking about the song, but who knows if I'll hear back from them now . Is rather difficult to get anyone in the music industry to directly respond back with answers to questions I guess. 😒 hopefully the song will pop up soon so we can finally download it and enjoy it ! This is been like pulling teeth trying to locate ! 😲

I messaged Alexandra and Chop Shop but nothing yet. This artist is missing a killer opportunity to get her song downloaded and charting.... Awesome to see so many fans of the show on here! The books are awesome too!

Tunefinds team posted on their website and said they confirmed it was a new, unreleased song by Ruelle called “Slip Away”. They said they reached out to her team to find out when it will be released, but that’s all for now.

Song: Slip Away Artist: Ruelle Release Date: Tuesday 11/13/18? Looks like it’s coming out tomorrow and yes it is Ruelle. Go back and Shazam the song now and it comes up. I’d post a screenshot here but it won’t let me.

I sent an email to the music supervisor of the show, his name is Eric Wegener , so hopefully I will get a response back soon. If and when I do I will definitely post it. Keep your fingers crossed. 😓

Defiantly NOT that Ruelle song ohmygoshhilary. It doesn’t even sound remotely like it, other than having similar lyrics in the chorus. Let’s see what Eric the Music Supervisor for the show emails SueEtch back and says. They really should have had everything ready to go so the song could get downloads and plays. I’m an independent musician and you can Shazam and Siri my songs....

I doubt Jacob Groth would know the songs that were placed in the show as he is the composer and that job goes to the music supervisor. If we can identity who the supervisor is that handles song placement we could tweet to or email them. It sounds a lot like Ruelle and it's driving me crazy!! I used my Shazam to see if my app would pick it up and all I get is "No Results Found"...Grrrrrr
