Russ returns home after his meeting with Julia to find himself having purchased one of her cooking book and twisted around after their conversation all which he tells his wife, Marian, after giving her the cook book as welcomes him home to lackluster meal.
Today's the Day!
The morning the pilot, Julia, Paul and Judith head out to WGBH as they do they stopping by Avis' home to pick her up; (continues) [0:27] Retrieving a depressed Avis, the group arrives at the station for the taping.
Coq au Vin-Tango
Julia attempts to ready herself as tape readies to begin; Russ stages and directs Julia and starts cross hairs with Paul attempting to do the same; as Paul and Russ being to argue Julia pleads with Ruth to handle the situation as her producer; (repeats) [0:34] Julia continues with the taping as Alice and Avis help her from below the counters as runs into issues; Judith helps Russ director Julia; (continues) [0:37] as she servers the meal Russ calls for Julia to stall for time, she uses Paul's speech on the wine to save time.

Hunter Fox president of WGBH introduces the Monday T.V. line up then introduces "The French Chef" with Julia Child premiering; Julia's friends and her foe in the form of Russ gather around their television sets for the shows premiere.
