Raife and Haverford have a discussion after hearing about Raife having his CIA father doing some intelligence on Haverford. Raife wants to know if Haverford can be trusted, and the voice seems to confirm that the spyman is a solid operator who is quite motivated. Raife's contact also reveals that Haverford runs the longest asset in Tehran, codename "The Shepherd."

The team goes over their mission, and only Raife isn't fully on board. Ben confronts him while he's angrily chopping wood. Raife tells Ben that his gut is telling him something's off, accusing Ben of forgetting everything he learned in the teams. He tells Ben that he can't trust Eliza, no matter how much he wants to. Raife believes that, deep down, Ben feels the same concerns. However, Ben disagrees. He asserts that he's on the right path for the first time in a long time, and that he's tired of seeing good men turn into puppets. Ben urges Raife to trust him as much as he trusts Raife.

On the day Haverford confirms that the Kahlid Network is moving the package, the courier takes the bearings and rides through the German countryside. Eventually, his group comes upon the tunnel, where an accident has occurred. Then, the convoy is attacked by Ben and his team.

In Zurich, Ben and Eliza decide to head for a town called Stein to meet Haverford after the spymaster contacts Ben about retrieving the bearings. As they're stuck in traffic, a motorcyclist places a bomb on top of their car. Ben barely makes it out in time as the vehicle explodes, but he isn't out of danger quite yet. The motorcycle quickly turns back around as the enemy operatives set their sights on the American agent. Ben fires back and kills them, but unfortunately, it's too late. Eliza is killed in the explosion.

Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm Of The War Drums

A Perfect Circle

Ben taking matters into his own hands after he realizes that Haverford played him in the deal with the Iranians. This leads to one of the darkest moments in the series, and the entire franchise for that matter, as bullets fly through a private jet and kill everyone on board. Ben has to quite literally pry the bearings from the Iranians' hands before the job is done.

It doesn't take very long before we see several vehicles make their way toward Ben's safe house. Almost like clockwork, the SUVs begin to set off his traps, prompting an explosion that alerts Ben to their presence. The QRF team quickly recovers, and a firefight breaks out after Ben rains bullets on them from afar. Clearly outnumbered, Ben has prepared for this and escapes into the basement of the house.

The team gives Ben everything they need to finish this by taking out everyone responsible. Landry kills one of the arms dealers in Istanbul, and Cyrus is brutally taken out by Mo via a car bomb at his child’s soccer game. While at the golf course living his best life, Haverford sees Cyrus' death on the news and realizes that he is next.
